Whether it’s for the stage or the screen (or somewhere in between)…

my passion is storytelling.

A Rose in Boston - screenplay

Logline: After a painful breakup, two lovers reflect on their relationship through therapy and embark on a healing journey in hopes of overcoming personal obstacles in the way of true love.

Omar is an actor, who writes a little too. Robyn is a corporate baddie, who draws a bit on the side. The moment they meet feels like magic. Sparks fly, but are they mature enough to handle the flame?

In the brand-new romcom, A Rose in Boston, we witness Robyn and Omar’s six-year saga of a relationship - if you can even call it that. labels are hard… - and watch them try their best to maintain balance as the universe draws them together, pulls them apart, and compels them to heal & learn to love themselves before loving another.

Boston isn’t just the backdrop for this movie. It’s a living, breathing character. And along with our star-crossed lovers, we explore the city with a focus on the people and culture of the less frequently depicted parts of Black and brown Boston.

Inspired by romances like Love Jones and Before Sunrise, we’re bringing classic Black romcoms BACK for a new generation.

I Don’t Wanna Grow Up - stage play

Andre feels stuck in a loop. He dreams of writing children’s books but can’t seem to find the time or motivation to - considering how much he has to work to support himself and his family.

Then the status quo at the struggling “Toys R Fun” toy store he works at is drastically shaken up with the arrival of a new and extremely militant store manager. Will Andre and his coworkers rise to the standards of their new boss’s uncompromising expectations?

This comedy uses magical realism and puppetry to highlight the humor and often harsh reality of working in a retail environment.

It asks the question: What does it take for a person to pursue their passion while existing under the crushing weight of capitalism?
